2022 EARLY VOTING STATISTIC REPORTS

Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is releasing the 2022 Early Voting Statistic Reports which includes the breakdown by Precinct and Age for each island. Early Voting for the 2022 Primary Election ended on Monday, August 1, 2022, with a record-breaking number of 4,418 electors participating, surpassing those of 2018. Of the 34, 697 registered Democrats territory wide, 13% participated in Early Voting. The break down per district is as follows: St. Thomas – 2,182, St. Croix -2,131 and St. John-105.

Supervisor Fawkes encourages voters who did not cast their ballot during 2022 Early Voting to please visit a Voting Center to cast their ballot on Election Day. The Primary Election will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2022. All Voting Centers will open at 7:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM. The following is a list of Voting Centers by district:

St. Thomas
Tutu Park Mall (former Scotia Bank location)
Charlotte Amalie High Scholl Gymnasium
University of the Virgin Islands Sports & Fitness Center

St. John
Julius Sprauve School Cafeteria
Calabash Boom Community Center

St. Croix
D.C. Canegata Recreation Center
St. Croix Central High School Gymnasium
Arthur A. Richards K-8th School Modular Cafeteria

Supervisor Fawkes would like to thank the dedicated and hardworking team of the Elections System, Poll Workers and the support services of the Virgin Islands Police Department and the Department of Health.

In closing, Supervisor Fawkes expresses, “If you don’t vote, you lose your right to complain.”
