FIRST DAY TO SUBMIT NOMINATION PETITIONS AND PAPERS IS TUESDAY, MAY 10, 2022

Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes is reminding aspirants that the first day to submit Nomination Petitions and Papers is Tuesday, May 10, 2022, by 6:00 PM. The deadline to file is May 17, 2022, before 5:00 PM. Offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix will remain open until 6:00 PM on May 10th. And on St. John, the office hours will be 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Regular Office hours and locations are as follows:

ELECTIONS SYSTEM ST. THOMAS OFFICE TO CLOSE FOR COMPLETION OF REPAIRS

Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is reminding the public of the closure of the St. Thomas Elections Office effective Tuesday, April 26, 2022 – Friday, April 29, 2022. The office will be closed for the completion of the removal and replacement of its carpet, that has been pending since the aftermath of the 2017 hurricanes. This closure will impact only the St. Thomas office.

BOARD OF ELECTIONS VOTER’ S REGISTRATION

Please be advised that the Board of Elections (St. Croix District) will be conducting voter registration on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Stop and Shop Supermarket in Frederiksted from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Students are encouraged to register to vote and present themselves with the required documents.

SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS TO HOST NOMINATION PETITIONS & PAPERS TRAINING ON ST. JOHN

Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes is reminding all aspirants that the Elections System of the Virgin Islands will be conducting a training on St. John for aspirants about the process of completing and filing Nomination Petitions and Papers. The training will be held at Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation at 5:30 pm on St. John, Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

The Board of Elections (St. Thomas/St. John) will hold a Voter Registration Drive on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Tutu Park Mall Center Court. The hours are 1:00pm-3:00pm. Documents required for registration are as follows:

Military Discharge from (DD214) or Naturalization Certificate
And provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number
