ABSENTEE BALLOTS AVAILABLE TO ALL QUALIFIED ELECTORS
Early Voting continues to be suspended in the St. Thomas/St. John District until further notice. The Department of Health is providing guidance on the reopening of facilities in the St. Thomas-St. John District. Additional information will be forthcoming in our Wednesday, July 15, 2020 press release. ***PRIMARY ELECTION 2020*** EARLY VOTING CONTINUES THROUGH JULY 26TH
Supervisor of Elections, Mrs. Caroline Fawkes, reminds everyone that Early Voting continues through Saturday, July 26th territory-wide. Early Voting on St. Croix and St. John is held at the Elections System Offices, and on St. Thomas, at the Charlotte Amalie High School Temporary Cafeteria (Sprung Unit). The hours for early voting are 9:00am to 3:00pm daily. “We are urging the public to get out and early vote said Supervisor Fawkes. The Voting Centers are also operational on Saturday and Sunday.”
BOARD OF ELECTIONS MEETING NOTICE
The Board of Elections has scheduled a Board Meeting for Tuesday, July 15, 2020 at 1:00pm. This meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams-teleconference/video-conference. ***SPECIAL NOTICE*** 2020 PRIMARY ELECTION EARLY VOTING
Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is pleased to announce the successful implementation of Early Voting in both districts. The first day of Early Voting saw a steady support of voters eager to cast their ballots. Early Voting continues Tuesday, July 7, 2020 to Sunday, July 26, 2020.

Please be advised that the Board of Elections will be conducting testing of the ExpressVote and DS200 Voting Machines which will be utilized during Early Voting on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 5:30 PM at the Elections System of the Virgin Islands offices on St. Croix and St. Thomas respectively:

*** NOTICE - VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE***
Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, would like to inform the general public that the deadline to register to vote, in order to be eligible to participate in the August 1, 2020 PRIMARY ELECTION is Thursday, July 2, 2020. According to VI Code 18, Chapter 5, voter registration is closed for a period of 30 days immediately preceding and five days immediately following each election.
Elections System Offices to Resume Regular Business Hours
Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, has announced the Elections System offices will resume regular business hours effective, Monday, June 15, 2020 at the St. Thomas and St. Croix offices. For the week of June 15th through June 19th, the offices will operate extended hours from 8:00AM-6:00PM, to allow additional hours for voter registration.
On St. John, the office will open to the public on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30am-3:30pm effective Friday, June 12th through July 1, 2020. Updates will be provided on the St. John operations before July 1, 2020.
