Title 18 VIC, Chapter 5, §110, as amended, requires that every registered voter in the USVI, who has not voted since 2016, update their Voter Registration Status. Letters were mailed to voters on August 15, 2022, and the voter has thirty (30) days to respond to the notice either personally or by mail, a written request for reinstatement of your registration, setting forth your place of residence and your mailing address.

St. Croix Office Closure in honor of former St. Croix Employee Angela C. Roberts
On behalf of the Elections System of the Virgin Islands, Supervisor Caroline F. Fawkes sends her condolences to the family of Ms. Angela C. Roberts. Ms. Roberts started her journey with the Elections System on February 20, 1980, at the tender age of nineteen years old and retired from the Elections System on December 21, 2010. Ms. Roberts was a hard worker, polite with everyone, and enjoyed a good time.
Due to staff attendance and participation in the funeral service, the St. Croix Elections office will be closed on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

SPECIAL NOTICE - VIRGIN ISLANDS ELECTIONS SYSTEM AUDITS CONFIRM 100% ACCURACY IN RECORDING OF BALLOTS
Post-election audits of the 2022 Virgin Islands Primary Election are now completed and the results confirm that the Elections System of the Virgin Islands (ESVI) has met its mandate to be “fair, accessible and transparent” in conducting reliable elections, announced Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes. “We were confident that the Primary Election went well and are very pleased that the audit results verify 100% accuracy in the recording of ballots in voting machines used in two randomly selected voting centers in the St. Croix and St. Thomas-St. John districts,” said Fawkes.

SPECIAL NOTICE - 2022 Primary Election Official Results
On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, the Board of Elections concluded the counting of the 2022 Primary Election Absentee Ballots in both districts. In the St. Croix District, a total of 132 absentee ballots were counted and, in the St. Thomas-St. John District, 184 absentee ballots were counted for a total of 316 Absentee Voters territory-wide. A total of 21 provisional ballots were counted in the St. Thomas/St. John district. There were no provisional ballots in the St. Croix district.
