Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is pleased to announce that Early Voting will resume in the St. Thomas/St.
In accordance with Title 18 Section 94a Virgin Islands Code, please be advised that EARLY VOTING for the PRIMARY ELECTION will be held from July 6, 2020 to July 26, 2020. Voting Centers will be open at 9:00 AM and close at 3:00 PM. The Early Voting Locations are:
District of St. Croix Elections Office-Sunny Isle Annex Unit 4,
District of St. Thomas-St. John- St. Thomas- Charlotte Amalie High School Temporary Cafeteria (Sprung Unit) (CAHS)
St. John Elections Office-Market Place Suite II, 3rd Floor
Early Voting continues in the St. Croix district for the August 1, 2020 Primary Election. Supervisor of Elections, Mrs. Caroline Fawkes, continues to encourage the public to take advantage of early voting. On St. Thomas and St. John, Early Voting was suspended on Friday, July 10th after the system learned that an individual conducting business at the St. Thomas office had tested positive for COVID-19. The agency has taken all the necessary health and safety protocols with guidance from the Department of Health.
Early Voting for the 2020 Primary Election continues to see a steady number of voter participation in the St. Croix district. On Wednesday, July 15th, the district had fifty-three (53) early voters, which brings the total number of early voters for the St. Croix district to three hundred eighty-eight (388).

Early Voting continues to be suspended in the St. Thomas/St. John District until further notice. The Department of Health is providing guidance on the reopening of facilities in the St. Thomas-St. John District. Additional information will be forthcoming in our Wednesday, July 15, 2020 press release. Early Voting on St. Croix and St. John is held at the Elections System Offices, and on St. Thomas, at the Charlotte Amalie High School Temporary Cafeteria (Sprung Unit). The hours for early voting are 9:00am to 3:00pm daily. “We are urging the public to get out and early vote said Supervisor Fawkes. The Voting Centers are also operational on Saturday and Sunday.”
The Board of Elections has scheduled a Board Meeting for Tuesday, July 15, 2020 at 1:00pm. This meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams-teleconference/video-conference.
