PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE – ELECTIONS SYSTEM VOTING EQUIPMENT TRAINING ON ST. THOMAS

The Supervisor of Elections, Caroline F. Fawkes, is announcing the upcoming Election Equipment New/Refresher Training for the system Voting Technicians. In keeping with its Motto- FAIR, ACCESSIBLE, SECURE AND TRANSPARENT Elections, the public is invited to the Open House. This Training will take place on December 16th at 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, in the St. Thomas Elections Office Conference Room and conducted by Elections System and Software Representative. We are asking the public to take advantage of this opportunity to get an in depth understanding of the functions of the voting machines. Please call the Elections System office at 774-3107, for booking times, to ensure adherence to the Department of Health pandemic protocols. It is the hope of the Board and the Office of the Supervisor, at the closure of this training the public will be more informed and educated about the voting machines in the territory.
